Patron Services

All of our facilities, including bathrooms and indoor or outdoor public seating, are provided for the convenience of our patrons who are attending a film screening or special event. We do not permit public use of these conveniences without purchase of a ticket or screening reservation.

Ticket Ordering Policy

We have a range of discounts that we offer to those who qualify. We do not survey patrons concerning their age or any other discount-relevant personal information. We do not offer refunds or barters for tickets ordered without discount-relevant information.

Senior
Patrons of age 60 or older may receive entry for $7.50 upon request
Children
Children age 2-12 may receive entry for $7.50 upon request.
(Children under 2 are free. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.)
Military
Active and non-active members of the U.S. Military may receive entry for $9.00 upon request and with proper identification.
College
Currently enrolled college students may receive entry for $9.00 upon request and with proper identification.
(Not all ticket types are available for all shows or events – special event prices may apply)

Purchase of Ticket

The purchase of a single ticket does not permit access to any screening other than that which is specified by purchase. A ticket for a particular screening does not grant access to the proceeding or following screening of the same film. Tickets are non-transferrable. The purchase of a ticket for one film cannot be used for entry to a different movie.

Consumption and Purchase of Alcohol

We have an outstanding selection of beer and wine available at a/perture cinema. The purchase and consumption of these products is available only to patrons ages 2 and up. ID is required to purchase alcohol. Any guest may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol.
Patrons who consume alcoholic beverages must do so in a responsible manner. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased at a/perture, except for wine bottles that are corked and bagged by a staff member. Anyone found to be consuming outside food or beverage will be asked to leave. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

Patron Accommodations

a/perture cinema is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek the nearest member of a/perture staff.

Costumes with Masks and Props or Weapons

Protecting the safety of our patronage is a top priority at a/perture cinema. a/perture does not allow admission for guests of any age wearing a mask, face paint, or face-obscuring hood; or possessing weapons, props, fake weapons, or any object that staff deem as dangerous.

Backpacks/Packages/Bags

We want our patrons and staff to feel comfortable and safe at all times. To maintain a secure environment, all backpacks, packages and large bags of any kind are subject to inspection by our staff. Admission policies may be modified as necessary to ensure the safety of all our guests.

First Aid

If any patron should require immediate medical assistance, please locate the nearest a/perture staff member so that they can call 911. a/perture staff has a first aid kit available for any instance in which minor medical attention is needed.

Lost and Found

a/perture is not responsible for lost, stolen, or found personal items. Before leaving the studios or other a/perture spaces, please check around your seat for any personal belongings. For assistance, locate a staff member. If items are left, our staff will place them in our designated lost and found area. Studios are cleaned and examined after every showing and items are held for at least 2 weeks before being donated to a worthy organization.
Access to studios for the purpose of retrieving forgotten items will not be granted to patrons while screenings are in progress.

Personal Communication Devices

In consideration of all our guests, we insist that you refrain from using cell phones, pagers, or any other personal communication device while in any studio. If patrons do not refrain from using personal communication devices, or from other generally disruptive behaviors, this can result in removal from a show and possibly refusal of future service.

Film Theft

No recording devices (cell phones, cameras, sound recorders) are permitted for use within screening rooms.
By entering the theatre, you consent to a physical search of your belongings and person for recording devices. If you bring an unauthorized recording device into the theatre, you consent to forfeiture of the device and its contents. If you attempt to use an unauthorized recording device, you consent to your immediate removal from the theatre. U.S. law prohibits unauthorized recording of films.

Photography and Social Media

Taking unauthorized commercial or professional photographs of the theatre property, storefront, or other areas or events without the permission of staff or management is not permitted.
However, personal social media photography is welcome. Taking pictures of yourself and your friends before or after your screening in encouraged. If available, a/perture staff can assist you.
Your use of a ticket constitutes acknowledgement of willingness to appear in photographs and video taken in public areas of a/perture cinema that can be published on our website and social media platforms.

No Solicitation

Soliciting or loitering on a/perture premises is not allowed.

No Smoking

All of a/perture cinema is a smoke-free environment. Vaping is also prohibited in all screening rooms.

Outside Food or Drink

No outside food or drink is permitted within a/perture or on our patio. Anyone found to have brought in outside food or beverage will be asked to leave.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for any reason.

Refusal of Service

a/perture staff reserves the right to deny entry to individuals who are intoxicated, disruptive, demonstrating intolerable or threatening behavior, or negatively effecting the experience of other patrons.

Refunds will not be issued in the case that an individual is removed from the premises due to the behaviors listed above.

Animals

Pets/animals are not allowed into a/perture cinema unless they are service certified. Trained service animals are welcome but must be wearing an identifying assistive-companion vest. Guests who use service animals must retain control of their animals at all times and should keep them on a leash or harness while visiting. Staff members are not permitted to take control of service animals.

Service for Patrons with Disabilities

All of our screening rooms are wheelchair accessible. We have designated areas for wheelchairs in each screening room. We have an elevator for the use of patrons who have difficulty with using stairs. We also have closed-captioning devices, visually impaired devices and assistive listening devices for patrons who are vision or hearing impaired.

Movie Pass

While a/perture cinema does accept Movie Pass, we are not responsible for any malfunction that occurs within the Movie Pass application. In the case of application malfunction, a/perture staff is not responsible for troubleshooting the functionality of Movie Pass, and entry will not be permitted until a ticket is purchased through other means.

Showtime Publication

We publish our showtimes every Tuesday on aperturecinema.com. We have no control over information published by secondary sources and cannot be held responsible for any misinformation from such sources. Showtimes are subject to change at all times for a number of reasons. We encourage all patrons to visit aperturecinema.com to gather information about any show times and upcoming events.
